I have this huge urge to draw. I want to draw a lot of things: my own characters, random characters, other people's doll characters. I also want to do a large painting (I have the perfect 'canvas' for it but no idea). But when I pick up the pencil and paper, nothing comes out. The ideas just pour out of me and it seems impossible to begin anything.
That combined with the fact that I always ruin everything when I ink&color it... doesn't really even inspire to try. Lately, my best drawings are sketches, while some years back they were the best when they were finished and colored.
Depressing, really.

Emptying it... maybe?
I think... I should maybe empty my gallery here. There are two pictures that I like and would probably keep, but that's it.
I want to start over but I'm afraid I have no motivation to draw. Especially now that I don't even have a scanner anymore (long story).
I'm so out of practise with drawing anyway. In the past month I have managed about 4 sketches but will never finish them. I think I need to spend a whole day looking at people's art and get inspired... but I never have time for that -thanks to the bazillion other things I'd need to be doing.
So... to empty my gallery or not...?

Lazy
I have two works in progress... The other one is the swan that I've submitted in the wip category, which I started months ago, then lost it and then found it again... I don't feel like finishing it anymore since I've already coloured all the fun parts xD;;
The other drawing is for halloween... but I've already coloured all the fun parts in that one, too xD; I just don't feel like finishing it.
I should know that if I once stop working on something I'll never get it finished
...and now that I think about it. I have one more wip. It's the Maron & Chiaki crossplay piece that I drew like last year or something... I've progressed with the colou

New DA
New DA freaks me out... But I love the new search. I finally found what I was looking for (=fanart of a certain character 'cause I can't find any reference anywhere else).
I have two unfinished drawings, but I don't feel like finishing them at all. Hopefully I'll get some inspiration this week when my new copics arrive~ More skin and brown colours +new tips o/
Yesterday, I discovered that I can't draw again. Haha. It isn't working out at all. I'd like to do some practise sketches, but even they don't work out. Only when I'm not trying they come out fine. It frustrates me.

Who says you have to ink everything? Sketches are usually more interesting as a lineart than inked versions of them. Just clean the sketch enough in photoshop or something and darken it. Also one thing I've noticed worth trying is getting yourself a brushpen. A black marker that has a brush-like tip. It makes the lineart as lively as sketches. It takes to time to get to use one but it's a fun pen to work with!
